报告摘要:
Hybrid perovskites are emerging as a new generation of solution processed semiconducting materials with fantastic optoelectronic properties. Solar cells and light-emitting diodes (LEDs) incorporating these perovskites are rapidly becoming serious contenders to rival the leading technologies. The power conversion efficiencies of perovskite solar cells have jumped from 3% to over 25% in ten years, and external quantum efficiency of perovskite LEDs has increased dramatically from 0.1% to over 20% in the past five years.
In my talk, I will give an overview of hybrid perovskite materials and its unique optoelectronic properties that have led to these efficiency breakthroughs. I will then focus on the grain size/crystallinity engineering of perovskite for efficient solar cells and LEDs. I will cover topics including: 1) preparation of high quality perovskite films by a two-step solution process and solvent annealing, and 2) highly efficient visible and infrared perovskite LEDs featuring nanometer sized crystals.
